Robert Dobyns' Obituary
Robert Dobyns, age 50, of Cutler, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:35 a.m. at Pinckneyville Community Hospital E.R., Pinckneyville, IL.
Robert was born on September 11, 1970 in Red Bud, IL, a son to Robert E. "Bobby" Dobyns and Linda C. (Clayton) Erb. On October 1994, Robert married Ermetta R. Bravard and she survives. He had worked as a mechanic and did construction, jack of all trades. Robert enjoyed working on anything with a motor. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.
Survivors include his wife, Ermetta Dobyns; a daughter, Hydee Nikcole (Michael) Dobbs of Pinckneyville, IL; one son, Robert Arthur Dobyns, Jr. of Shelbyville, TN; mother, Linda (Dennis) Erb of Sparta, IL; and four brothers, Clyde "Lee" Dobyns of Cutler, IL, Scott Dobyns of Sparta, IL, Chad (Hollie) Dobyns of Elizabethtown, KY, and Jeff (Shannon) Dobyns of Chester, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Jimmy Dobyns; and one sister, Sheila Lynn Dobyns in infancy.
Robert's wishes were to be cremated and family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
