Robert J. Dobrinick's Obituary
Robert J. 'Bob' Dobrinick, age 73, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away Thursday evening, July 3, 2008 in his home. Bob was born in Litchfield, IL on May 1, 1935 the son of Pete and Frieda (Albert) Dobrinick. He was united in marriage to Theresa M. Mentel on May 30, 1956 at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville, IL and she survives. Bob was self employed in maintenance and repair. He was a member of the St. Bruno Catholic Church, former member of the Knights of Columbus, loved his family and doing for others. Bob was a skilled woodworker and craftsman. Bob is survived by two sons: Charles R. (Gayla) Dobrinick of Pinckneyville, IL, and Robert 'Tom' (Cindy) Dobrinick of Scottsdale, AZ, two daughters: Denise A. (Roger) Ruffino of Pinckneyville, IL, and Lori (Tom) Johnson of Pinckneyville, IL, a sister: Alberta Kernich of Mt. Olive, IL, eleven grandchildren: Hanna Rux, Alycia and Sabrina Dobrinick, Amie Davis, Jill and Staci Ruffino, David and Samantha Popham, Abigail Dobrinick, and Drew and Kaitlyn Johnson, three great grandchildren, and his former wife, Theresa of DuBois, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild: Joshua Dale Ruffino, and a sister: Roselene Lorenz. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL, Monday, July 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The Rosary will be recited on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, St. Bruno Catholic Church, or Gerre Luke Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Family of Bob Dobrinick would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Luke Memorial Hospice for the caring and professional services provided during Bob's final days.
