I was a friend of Dick when I was a boy in the 1950's in Coulterville and found his obituary in 2019. I thought of him many times over the years and wondered where he was and what he had done in life. My dad, Rev. Fred Lenk was his pastor in those boyhood days.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Dick's Family. I am a year younger than Dick and was with him while growing up in Coulterville. We were in the same Cub Scout Pack together of which his Mom Elanor was our Den Leader. We had many wonderful days together in Coulterville playing baseball, basketball and other sports we had in High School. I have many found memories of Dick, Harold O'Rear and some others playing in the fields up in the South end of Coulterville. We went to the same Church together and had fun on all the Youth Group nights! Your Father will be truly missed by all. He was a very wonderful man.
