I worked with road ditch back in early 70's when we sank zeigler 11. He was a very colorful guy and a very good repairman. He loved a good prank.

I reconnected with my cousin Rich in August 2022 after losing contact for over 15 years. When in southern Illinois I often drove by his old home or truck garage where he tried to keep old trucks running to support his racing. On that trip I saw a midget car chassis in the garage so I knew he was back, In short, we had a great visit and drank a few beers at the VFW. His story telling and laugh in his raspy country voice is hoot in itself. I will miss him dearly and share tears with the family. His legend will live on!
