Regina Ann Heisner's Obituary
Regina Ann Heisner, nee Kellerman, age 86, formerly of the Pinckneyville, IL area, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. in the Clark-Lindsey Village, Urbana, IL. Regina was born near Todds Mill, IL on September 23, 1920, a daughter of Anton and Mary (Phillips) Kellerman. She married Sylvester A. Heisner on April 19, 1958 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL and he preceded her in death on October 5, 1993. During her lifetime, she was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters, worked at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital for a short period of time and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at the Washington County Hospital, Nashville, IL until her retirement, enjoyed embroidery, watching birds, quilting, and especially her grandsons. She is survived by a daughter: Karen McCarty, and her husband, Todd, of Champaign, IL, two grandsons: Jacob and Josh at home, two sisters: Josephine Reidelberger and her husband: Gene, of Pinckneyville, and Mildred Borawski of Fairview Heights, IL, a sister-in-law: Normadean Kellerman of Pinckneyville, along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother: Lewis Kellerman. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL with Fr. Bernard Goedde officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. A rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Pinckneyville Hospital Home Care.
