Rebecca Ann Davis' Obituary
Rebecca Ann Davis, age 63, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 12:17 p.m., in St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Rebecca was born on July 14, 1960 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to James Nelson and Wanda Evelyn (Lee) Craig. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL. Rebecca had worked in home health care with Doers, Murphysboro, IL and at Gutzler Donut Shop, Nashville, IL. She enjoyed cooking, baking and her pets. Rebecca's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her two sons, David Davis (Pam Tuttle) of Rice, IL, and Mathew Davis (Tiana Dodson) of Coulterville, IL; a daughter, Ashley (James) Crabtree of Pinckneyville, IL; her ex-husband/friend, Dwayne Davis of Nashville, IL; three brothers, Jim (Bonnie) Craig of Kissimmee, FL, Loren (Priscilla) Craig of DuQuoin, IL, and Jerry (Theresa) Craig of Tamaroa, IL; seven grandchildren, Trenton, Sadie, Erek, Melody, Tanek, Maverick, and Calvin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Wilma June Easter.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Gary Pate officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery, Rice, IL.
Visitation will be at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Concord Baptist Church.
