Raymond Ardel Hubler's Obituary
Raymond Ardel Hubler, age 95 of Swanwick, IL, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 7:50 p.m. in Washington County Hospital, Nashville, IL. Raymond was born on May, 24, 1914 in Rice, IL, a son to Alva and Mary (Woodside) Hubler. In 1940 he married Grace Alfa (Robb) Tabing in Perryville, MO and she survives. Raymond was a member of the Swanwick Presbyterian Church, Swanwick, IL. He retired as a teamster truck driver for Dunn Brothers Motors, having logged over two million accident free miles. Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Raymond is survived by his wife, one step-son: Richard Robb (Anne) Tabing of Cutler, IL, two grandchildren; Douglas (Cheri) Tabing of Pinckneyville, IL and Scott (Karla) Tabing of Pinckneyville, IL, three great-grandchildren; Taylor, Eric and Emilee Tabing and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Andrew Earl Hubler and Clifford Hubler, one sister: Lydabelle Holtz and one brother in infancy. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend David Guthrie officiating. Interment will be in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swanwick Presbyterian Church or Swanwick Bethel Cemetery.
