Pauline Cometto's Obituary
Pauline Cometto, age 88, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Pauline was born on December 23, 1923 in Swanwick, IL, a daughter to Frank and Plagia (Klemki) Kocian. On October 19, 1940, she married Joseph Cometto in St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in death after almost 65 years of marriage on February 18, 2005. She was a homemaker and farmer and dearly loved her family. Survivors include her sons, Alvin Cometto, Raymond (Faith) Cometto, David (Rita) Cometto, and Larry (Gina) Cometto, all of Coulterville, IL; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Paul Kocian, Joe Kocian, Edward Kocian and Theodore Kocian; two sisters, Emma Beetley and Marie Frakes; a grandson, Nathan Cometto; and a great-grandson, Blayne Cometto. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Jim Stark officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
