Paula LuGene Price's Obituary
Paula LuGene Price, age 64, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:40 a.m. in her home surrounded by her loving family. Paula was born on December 23, 1949 in Redbud, IL, a daughter to Charles Lee and Leta "Totsie" (Viglini) Rowney. On May 16, 1981, she married John Price in the First Baptist Church, Tilden, IL and he survives. Paula worked as a coal miner for Monterey Coal Company and owned and operated the Penny Pincher Auction in Coulterville, IL along with her husband John. She enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren, riding her motorcycle, casino hopping and she was an avid yard saler and bargain hunter. Survivors include her husband, John Price of Coulterville, IL; daughter, April Klausing of Pinckneyville, IL; two sons, John (Emily) Price Jr. of Perry, OH and Samuel Price of Redbud, IL; five grandchildren, Korey Klausing, Samantha Price, Alexis Price, Leah Pittsenbarger and Hannah Pittsenbarger; one brother, Clyde (Connie) Rowney of Port O'Connor, TX and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and one brother, Robby Rowney. Paula's wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life service is to be held at the Coulterville V.F.W., Coulterville, IL in July, 2014. Memorial donations may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society. Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
