Paul Everett Taylor's Obituary
Paul Everett Taylor, age 59, of DuQuoin, IL, formerly of Baytown, TX, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, IL. Paul was born on April 18, 1950 in Christopher, IL, a son to Arlie Ray and Norma Regina (Leathers) Taylor. He married to Nora See and to this marriage was born three daughters. Paul had worked as a cook and had owned Smokin' Pauls BBQ in Baytown, TX for many years. He had also worked as a carpenter. Survivors include three daughters, Nina Baker of Baytown, TX, April Taylor of DuQuoin, IL, and Angel Alvarez of DuQuoin, IL; six brothers, Fred (Harriet) Taylor, Jack (Linda) Taylor, Rick (Teddy) Taylor, Elston "Joe" (Betty) Taylor, William "Bill" (Linda) Henson and Tom (Kathy) Henson; four sisters, Diana (Maurice) Reidelberger, Cathy Porter, Vicky Killingsworth Taylor and Tina (Ray) Newton; four grandchildren, Sarah Baker, James Baker, Ameriah Taylor and Dantral Anders; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Debbie Taylor; and fiancée, Beverly Standaland. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Perry County Counseling Center Drug and Rehab Program, Jackson St., DuQuoin, IL.
