Paul A. Buschschulte's Obituary
Paul A. Buschschulte, age 92, of Cutler, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 5:40 a.m. at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab, Pinckneyville, IL. Paul was born on October 17, 1924 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to John F. and Clara M. (Epplin) Buschschulte. On August 1, 1970, he married Anna Lucille Dagner at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Ava, IL and she preceded him in death on December 28, 2006. Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Army while serving during WWII. He was a self-employed farmer, a member of St. Bruno's Catholic Church, the Farm Bureau and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Urbanek of Pinckneyville, IL and Agnes (Earl) Gibson of North Olmsted, OH; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Buschschulte of Cutler, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Lucille Buschschulte; one brother, Leo Buschschulte; and one sister in infancy, Cecilia. Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno's Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Military graveside rites will be presented by Daffron-Presswood American Legion Post #2504, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday March 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno's School, Pinckneyville, IL or masses.
