Patsy Hormann Jones' Obituary
Patsy Hormann Jones, age 73 of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11:34 a.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, IL. Patsy was born on April 30, 1937, in Sparta, IL, a daughter to Wesley and Ruth (Mann) Cole Sr. She married Harmon Leiner in Sparta, IL and he preceded her in death in May, 1989. She married Herbert "Sonny" Hormann in Eden, IL and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1989. She then married John Jack Jones in Sparta, IL and he preceded her in death in March 2007. Patsy was a member of Loyalty Baptist Church, Eden, IL and the Sparta Senior Center. She enjoyed being a school bus driver for the Coulterville School District, retiring after 12 years. Patsy loved fishing and enjoyed singing in the choir at the Senior Center. She was an avid baseball fan especially watching her children and grandchildren excel in school sports. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Patsy is survived by three sons, David (Gloria) Leiner of Coulterville, IL, Tom (Rhonda) Hormann of Coulterville, IL and William "Bill" Hormann of Chester, IL; two daughters, Amy Szostak of Coulterville, IL and Sunny (Andy) Markotay of Sparta, IL; one sister, Geraldine Gardner of Percy, IL; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild and one expecting; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; one daughter, Sandra Kay Leiner; one great-grandchild, Bethany Leiner; her best friend, "Grandma" Arthella Walker; and six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at Loyalty Baptist Church, Eden, IL on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., with Brother Tim McIntyre officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m and then at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Loyalty Baptist Church, Eden, IL.
