Patricia "Trisha" Nehrkorn's Obituary
Patricia "Trisha" Nehrkorn, age 53, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away at 10:45 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 in her home.
Trisha was born on December 16, 1962 in Fort Gordon, Augusta, GA, a daughter to Bruce Hanson and Patricia "Pat" (Denton) Hanson. On April 25, 1986, she married Dennis "Denny" Nehrkorn in Fort Kaskaskia, IL and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2016. Trisha was of the Lutheran faith, and enjoyed arts and crafts, her animals, camping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her mother, Patricia "Pat" Hanson of Ledbetter, KY; son, Dustin (Jill E.) Nehrkorn of DuQuoin, IL; daughter,Cassidy (Todd M.) Carns of Pinckneyville, IL; two brothers, Peter Hanson of Portland, OR, and Scott Hanson of Plainview, NY; sister, Bonnie Holmes of Ledbetter, KY; two grandchildren, Charlee Rae Nehrkorn and Bryson Dean Carns; seven nieces and nephews, Chris (Stephanie) Hayes, Jared (Kandi) Hayes, Sarah (John) Wilson, Carolyn (Gary) Gaudio, Greg Nehrkorn, Winston Bell, and Justin (Stevie) Holmes; and eight great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Hanson; husband, Dennis "Denny" Nehrkorn; and brother in-law, Tim Holmes A memorial service will be held at Nine Mile Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jared Hayes officiating. Friends may call at Nine Mile Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Nehrkorn family.
