Pat Reidelberger's Obituary
Pat Reidelberger, age 89, of Pinckneyville, IL, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:05 a.m. surrounded by her family and friends.
Pat was born on February 16, 1931 in Perry County, IL a daughter to, Charles and Emma (Kuhnert) Wright. On June 26, 1949 she married Melvin Reidelberger in Perry County, IL and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1997. Pat had worked for Murphy Wall State Bank and Trust Company as an executive secretary and the Crawford Family for over 30 years where she retired. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL was very involved in her church and volunteered at nursing homes and hospitals. Pat loved playing piano, spreading the love of Jesus to everyone, and writing poetry. She had her book of poems published.
Survivors include her children, David (Cynthia) Reidelberger, Shelia Storey and Randy Reidelberger; four grandchildren, Patrick (Christina) Braun, Chelsea (Christopher) Mayor, Emily Storey and Abbi Storey; seven great-grandchildren, Madison, Cassandra, Sydney, Reese, Maci Jo, Austyn and Lillian; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and six brothers, Elmer, Richard, Luther, Les, Harry and Floyd Wright; and one son-in-law, Fred Storey III.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and by the signing of executive order by Governor J.B. Pritzker, Phase Four attendance will be limited to 50 people and social distancing will be enforced.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
