Parry Francis Henseler's Obituary
Parry Francis Henseler our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away July 2, 2020. Parry was born December 29, 1973 in Pinckneyville, IL. He completed the Henseler family as the youngest of four children. From an early age he had a love for anything mechanical. He told of taking apart his mom's sewing machine, just so he could learn how it worked, and how to put it back together. He worked with his family farming land and maintaining an excavation business with heavy equipment. He gained much knowledge about engines, machines, and especially tool and die making from working along side his dad. This love led him to his career of machining in his adult life.
He was very proud of his work and has worked in the machining industry for over 20 years. Most recently he worked at Marathon, formerly Tesoro, refinery where he had 12 years of service. Soon after graduating high school in Collinsville, he moved from IL to live in UT with his siblings. In Utah he met Sharma Grover. Together they had two children and a stepdaughter who he called his own. His "Critters", Ryelee and Conner, were the love of his life.
Parry was easy going, soft spoken, reasonable, patient, with a great sense of humor, and kind man who would do anything for anyone. We are very proud of the man he was. He was most happy working in his garage, teaching Ryelee and Conner his trade. They accompanied him in working on vehicles and their 4-wheelers, tinkering in his yard with the quails nearby, and eating at his favorite restaurant Virg's, where everybody knew him. And most importantly he took adventurous, beautiful road trips with his Critters, especially to the Palisades, and to spend time with his family back home.
Parry is preceded in death by his Mom Betty (Louis) Henseler, who was his first love, his nephew Jarron Henseler, and many loving aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his children Ryelee and Conner Henseler, Stepdaughter Angi Grover (Devan Harris), Dad Francis Henseler, Sister Kathy (Doug) Giacoletto, Sister Sheila (Roshan) Bhojwani, Brother Glenn (Lisa) Henseler, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with all the other things we have mentioned, we will always remember his incredible work ethic, and the passion he had for his trade, his faith, and his children. He strived to be the very best dad he could be, and in our eyes he succeeded.
We "lava" you always and forever dad. Until we meet again.
