Shirley, Beth, Gary and Sandy: When I think of Orel, I think of a cheerful man who served others. Also, I think of you, his family, and how you supported me and my family through our sorrows. I pray for that kindness to be returned tenfold to all of you.
Aunt Shirley and family,
I'm sorry I missed the services for Uncle Orel. I always liked him, always had a smile and a kind word. I'll remember stopping by the barber shop, always full of men talking. The Sunday afternoon drives to your house for home-made ice cream. He was many things to many people, however, he was a great spouse and father to you all.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. He was a good man and I'm sure he's watching from Heaven.

Do not worry about us. Both you and Dad have done right by all of us and we know that. My only desire is that I can be half the man to my girls that Dad was to us. If I accomplish that, then they will have one heck of a good father as well.
