Norbert Anthony Schilling's Obituary
Norbert Anthony Schilling, age 79, formerly of Pinckneyville, IL, died Monday, March 27, 2006 in Belleville, IL. Norbert was born in Pinckneyville on October 25, 1926, a son of Frank P. and Anna C. (Reiniger) Schilling. He served with the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a retired kiln attendant with Kaiser Aluminum. Survivors include a daughter: Marie Turner, and her husband, Don, of Clermont, FL, her mother: Carolyn Colstock of Leesburg, FL, two sisters: Virginia Bigham of Pinckneyville and Teresa Burns of Carbondale, IL, a sister-in-law: Joyce Schilling of Baton Rouge, LA, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, with Fr. Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Friday from 9:00 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be to the donor's choice.
