Nina L. Ruppert's Obituary
Nina L. Ruppert, age 53, of rural Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 03, 2008 at 1:20 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL. Nina was born on April 24, 1955 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Elmer and Rose Gertrude "Sis" (Wright) Ruppert and lived in Perry County her whole life. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL, Catholic Daughters, Spotted Saddlehorse Association, National Spotted Horse Association, Calico Sewing Group of Carbondale, and co-owner of C.N. Spots Stables and worked at BICC Cable, DuQuoin, IL. She loved her horses and three dogs, and enjoyed her many friends, gardening flowers and other hobbies. Survivors include her mother: Gertrude "Sis" Ruppert of Pinckneyville, IL, grandmother: Mary T. Wright of Pinckneyville, IL, two brothers: Rev. E. Alan Ruppert of Pinckneyville, IL, and Jeffrey Ruppert of Pinckneyville, IL, two sisters: Lavonne (Stan) Morris of Swanwick, IL, and Caroline (Don, Jr.) Hill of Blue Springs, MO, two nieces: Trina and Miranda Morris, and nephew: Perry (Amanda) Morris. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Earl E. Wright, and Henry and Lucy Ruppert, father: Elmer Ruppert, and sister: Judy Ruppert. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Bernard Goedde officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery, Todds Mill, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A prayer services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the PanCan Society (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) or masses.
