Nicholas Solt-Byrd's Obituary
Nicholas Solt Byrd, age 23, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2007. Nicholas was born on November 25, 1983 in Oahu, Hawaii, a son to Jimmy and Mari-Jo (Helfrich) Byrd. Nicks interests included hunting, fishing, 4-wheeler and motorcycle riding, also enjoyed hanging out with his friends and listening to music. He had a certain love for pit bulls and will be missed by his faithful canine companion Lola. Survivors include his parents, maternal grandmother: Lilly Helfrich of Lenzburg, IL, paternal grandmother: Mary Ann Williams Kinston, NC, three brothers: Tony Solt Byrd, Justen Byrd, and Danny Byrd all of Coulterville, IL, one sister Holly Byrd of Raleigh, NC, aunts and uncles: Steven (Pat) Helfrich, Michael (Vickie) Helfrich, Cindy (Mauro) Galati and Dave (Char) Helfrich, one niece: Taylor Byrd of Raleigh, NC, and many cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Harry Helfrich, John Shipley, and one uncle Robert Helfrich. Funeral services will be held at the Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Lionel Gruver officiating. Interment will be in Byrd Family Cemetery, Coulterville. Friends may call at the Pyatt Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and then on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Byrd family.
