Nathaniel L. Carns' Obituary
Nathaniel L. Carns, age 40, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:57 p.m. in his home in Coulterville, IL.
Nathaniel was born on January 16, 1981 in Nashville, IL, a son to Gary Lee and Lisa (Hicks) Carns. He enjoyed shooting pool with friends. Nathaniel loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and mushroom hunting. He was an excellent griller no matter what the weather was outside.
Survivors include his mother, Lisa Carns of Coulterville; brother, Jamey (Misty) Carns of Coulterville; grandmother, Ruth Ann Hicks of Oakdale; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Ronald and Mildred Carns; grandfather, Bobby Hicks; and one nephew, Blake Keeton.
A funeral service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brett Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL, at a later time after his cremation.
Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus attendance will be limited and social distancing will be observed. All attendees are asked to wear a mask.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
