Nancy C. Hottes Nancy C. Hottes, age 68, of rural Ava, IL, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at her home. Nancy was born on February 25, 1938 in Pinckneyville, a daughter of Thurlow and Stella Mae (Jennings) Stahlheber. She married Harvey C. Hottes on July 28, 1956 in Pinckneyville and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2005. She was a graduate of Pinckneyville Community High School Class of 1956, a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, a Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, a member of the Steeleville Doll Club, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include two sons: Perry Hottes, and his wife, Tami, of Waltonville, Paul Hottes of Ava, a daughter: Patina Glodo, and her husband, Bartt, of Sparta, nine grandchildren: Lauren Hottes and her fiancée, Wesley Straatmann, Morgan Hottes, Ryan, Kendra, and Lance Glodo, Kaylee and Kinsley Kilpatrick, Shauna Taylor, and her husband, Jason, and Jaymie Cashion, two great-grandchildren: Trinity Glodo and Ethan Morris, a brother: Edward Stahlheber, and his wife, Judy, of Sparta, and a sister: Sandra Wendling, and her husband, Robert, of DuQuoin. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. till services. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, with Bro. Tim McIntyre officiating. Memorials may be made to the Creek Paum Cemetery Association. Interment will be in the Creek Paum Cemetery, rural Vergennes.
