Nancy Ann Burrows' Obituary
Nancy Ann Burrows, 75, of Sparta, IL passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.
Nancy was born on September 13, 1948 in St. Clemens Hospital, Red Bud, IL, a daughter to Russell and Janetta (Killgrove) Ramsey. Nancy was of the Baptist faith. She attended Missouri auction school, Sunset Hills, MO, which is the world's oldest and largest auction school, Nancy also attended Jane Lanterman's school of beauty and later owned and operated her own beauty shop. She also worked for several years as a legal secretary for A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. Nancy enjoyed scrapbooking, and making crafts. She loved traveling to Las Vegas and gambling and playing bingo throughout the United States. Nancy was passionate about spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her three sons, Scott Little of Sparta, IL, Gregory Little of Sparta, IL, and Raymond (Miranda) Burrows of Coulterville, IL; two brothers, Thomas (June) Ramsey of Zephyrhills, FL, and Dennis "Steve" (Karen) Ramsey of Port Saint Lucie, FL; one sister, Janice (Auggie) Mueth of Mascoutah, IL; eight grandchildren, Mallory Moore, Gunnar Moore, Drake Burrows, Luke Vuichard, Maura Vuichard, Nicholas Little, Scott Little Jr., and Victoria Little; one brother-in-law, Ronald Pyle Sr. of DuQuoin, IL; a special cousin, Ann Mertz of Mainsville, OH; Special friends, Randel (Felecia) Patterson and their daughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell (Janetta) Ramsey; paternal grandparents, Guy (Marion) Ramsey; maternal grandparents, Lyman (Sylvia) Killgrove; one sister, Sonja Pyle; and one granddaughter, Laci Little.
A graveside service will be held at Percy City Cemetery, Percy, IL on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Brian Hobbs officiating. Interment will be in Percy City Cemetery, Percy, IL
Visitation will be at Percy City Cemetery, Percy, IL on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Pyatt Funeral Home in Coulterville, IL has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society.
