Naaman T. Griffith's Obituary
Naaman Griffith, age 66, of Coulterville, IL, formerly of Tamaroa, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 31. 2021 at 11:35 a.m. in his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Naaman was born on July 3, 1955 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Oren and Bonnie L. (Carter) Griffith. Naaman had worked as a welder and fabricator for mine cars at A.L. Lee Corporation, Mt. Vernon, IL for 20 years. He enjoyed outdoor activities like camping, fishing and gardening. Naaman loved walking his dog, Shiloh and might often be recognized as the guy in the little blue truck with the big white dog in the back.
Survivors include his two sons, Travis (Julie) Griffith of Pinckneyville, IL and Troy (Amanda) Griffith of O'Fallon, IL; a daughter, Melissa (Sean) Franklin of Pinckneyville, IL; two sisters, Lisa Ginn and Tanya Moore; three grandsons; and three granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his greatest companion, his beloved dog, Shiloh.
Memorial services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.
Visitation will be at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Perry County Humane Society.
