Dear family of Ms Millie,
I am so sorry to hear this. Ms Millie was one of my favorite residents at Legacy Village, Xenia. I used to often visit her and we would talk about a lot of things under the sun. Her sharp wit and razor sharp memory used to amaze us.
She used to tell me to always use green apples for apple pies. We talked about family and when my dad flew from India to visit me, I took him to meet Ms Millie. She has since always asked about him.
Two years ago, our family moved to California. This past May, our daughter joined a nursing school in Cleveland. We drove to Beavercreek to see Ms Millie and I am so glad we did that.
Her smile and wealth of stories. I wish I could get a copy of her biography. She told me she had to add on a few more things since her 100th birthday.
What a lovely person! She will truly be missed by many, especially her dear loved family.
My prayers are with you during this time.
