Dear Kenny and family,
I remember you mother fondly. Your mom, dad, sister and you lived next door to us for a few years in Pinckneyville.
Your mom was always available to chat with me and my sisters and to help us with creative projects of all kinds.
I'll never forget the loss of your wonderful, caring sister Lucille. She was such a joy to have around.
Even though I've been gone from Illinois since 1957, many of my close family members still live in Southern Illinois.
My prayer for your family is to have peace and comfort from your many friends at this time.

Hi Kenny and family, I am sorry to hear about your Mom. When I saw the obituary, the memories came flooding back. The five of us girls (Donna, Sharon, Candace, Jane and me) really had a great GA leader in your Mom, plus all the many extras she did with us. I know you loved the slumber parties where the five of us invaded your house for the night. That all seems like a lifetime ago. I guess it was. Kenny, Sorry for your loss. I remember your Mom at P'ville 1st Baptist Church, being my G. A. leader for many years. She took us under her wing(probably because of your sister's death) and loved us as her own. We had many slumber parties and late nites at your home, even at Lake Salateeska, and will always remember her as a patient,kind, and loving woman. So, I have many fond memories of your Mom.
