Michael Scott "Mike" Thorbin's Obituary
Michael Scott "Mike" Thorbin, age 56, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 9:20 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL.
Mike was born on July 29, 1966 in Red Bud, IL, a son to James R. and Phyllis (Frieman) Thorbin. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cooking and photography.
Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Wenzel of Coulterville, IL; a sister, Michelle (Matt) Marshall of Virginia Beach, VA; a nephew, Major Marshall; two nieces, Natalie Marshall and Caroline Marshall; an aunt, Lacene Lingle; an uncle, Jim (Jane) Frieman; and three cousins, John Hlavaty, Jessica Gentry, and Scott Frieman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father; stepfather, Jim Wenzel; and an uncle, Clifton Lingle.
Mike's wishes were to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
