Micah Bird's Obituary
Micah Bird, age 42, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 9:42 a.m. in his home.
Micah was born on February 26, 1977 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Danny Ray Bird and Jane Secrease. He had worked for Joy Dog Food as a delivery and salesman for 16 years. Micah enjoyed training horses with his dad, horseracing and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his father, Danny Ray Bird of Ohio; mother, Jane (Randy) Juenger of Pinckneyville, IL; one maternal grandmother, Hildred Secrease of Pinckneyville, IL; one brother, Joshua (Wendy) Bird of Pittsburg, IL; one sister, Kaitlyn (Josh) Sledge of Pinckneyville, IL; one half-brother, Benjamin Bird of Ohio; three nephews, Gideon, Grady and Geno Sledge of Pinckneyville, IL; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a lot of friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Lydia Bird; and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Secrease.
The family will be conducting a memorial service at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.
Visitation will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
