Mary L. Wisely's Obituary
Mary L. Wisely, 66, of Kerrville, TX, arrived safely into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the presence of God the Father, at her home on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. She entered this world on August 19, 1946 in Hawk Point, MO to Paul E. and Dorothy (Dieckman) Stanek. Mary took the hand of her husband, Richard M. Wisely, on August 5, 1967 in St. Ann, MO, and walked through life's sweetest joys and deepest sorrows with him for 45 years. After graduating from Buchanan High School in Troy, MO, Mary worked in various sales-related fields for a number of years - including becoming a Diamond-Level Manager for Tupperware, just like her mom - before settling on the career that most satisfied her heart: being a wife and mother. She volunteered at her church, and various local charities and civic organizations wherever the Lord guided her family on their journey through life. Mary was beloved by many, known for her servant's heart and joyful disposition. Mary is survived by her devoted husband: Richard; two loving sons: Scott and wife Susan Wisely of Orlando, FL, and Richard and wife Melissa Wisely of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren by Richard and Melissa: Matthew, Logan, and Natasha and husband USMC Cpl Derik Udink; and a great-granddaughter: Emberlynn Udink. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters: Ed and wife Glenda Stanek of Creve Coeur, MO, Charles F. and wife Sharon Stanek of Hawk Point, Charlotte Smith of Wentzville, MO, Evelyn Hueffmeier of Wentzville, MO, Jeannie and husband Richard Hartmann of Camdenton, MO, Dorothy and husband James Caldwell of Troy, Audrey and husband Frank Roth of Hawk Point, Patty and husband Mike Mottert of St. Charles, MO, Bill and wife Gail Stanek of Hawk Point, Bob and wife Pam Stanek of Hawk Point, John Stanek of Hawk Point and Joseph and wife Karen Stanek of Hawk Point; several dozen nieces, nephews and other relatives; and blessed-friends too numerous to count. She is preceded in death by her parents; her wonderful brothers-in-law: Hobie Hueffmeier and Roland "Smitty" Smith; and sister-in-law: Arnie Stanek. A funeral service will be held to celebrate the love and commemorate the life of Mary at Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Rich Wisely and Pastor Jim Stark officiating. Interment will be in the Village of Coulterville Cemetery in husband Richard's hometown of Coulterville, IL Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home in Coulterville on Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for those wishing to bid Mary a heartfelt "See you soon."
