Mary Louise Marlow's Obituary
Mary Louise Marlow, age 73, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 8:20 p.m. in her daughter's home in Mount Vernon, IL. Mary was born on December 18, 1935 in Whitewater, MO, a daughter to Coda R. and Lillie June (Lane) Brown. On December 1, 1956, she married Melvin E. "Mel" Marlow in Hernando, MS and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2005. She had retired from Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, IL and was a member of United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL. Survivors include her son: Steve (Cheri) Marlow of Coulterville, IL, two daughters: Christi (John) Porter of Mount Vernon, IL, and Stacey (Jim) Morgan of Sparta, IL, three brothers: Codie (Geneva) Brown, Michael Brown, and Daniel Brown, three sisters: Imogene (Sam) Hale, Shirley (Ed) Dunnivan, and Peggy (John) Arnett, eight grandchildren: Kevin (Christi) Marlow, Kyle Marlow, Trevor Morgan, Katherine, Jackson, and Joie Porter, and Olivia and Grace Porter, and five great-grandchildren: Victoria, Allissa, Joseph Klamm, and Dalania and Bryant Marlow. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: Seth Porter, two brothers: Russell Brown and Jerry Lane Brown, and one sister: Patricia Harris. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Eunjoo Lee officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville Cemetery, Coulterville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
