Mary Lucille Ferrari's Obituary
Mary "Lucille" Ferrari, age 90, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:15 a.m. in her home.
Lucille was born on June 3, 1930 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Jesse M. and Mary T. (Miller) Marlow. She married Paul Dean Ferrari in St. Bruno Rectory in Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2011 after 60 years of marriage. She was a homemaker a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL and St. Bruno scripture study. Lucille was a great cook especially cooking biscuits and chicken n dumplings. She enjoyed gardening, reading, doing puzzles and word searches, baby sitting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include six sons, Frank (Cathy) Ferrari of Dahlgren, IL, Robert L., Sr. (Cindy) Ferrari of Pinckneyville, IL, Don (Laura) Ferrari of Pinckneyville, IL, Ronald (Leslie) Ferrari of Pinckneyville, IL, Gary (Becky) Ferrari of Pinckneyville, IL, and Kevin (Monica) Ferrari of Pinckneyville, IL; a daughter Paula (Bryan) Higgerson of Oakdale, IL; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and two on the way; Brother-in-law, Ralph Ferrari of Pinckneyville, IL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Dean Ferrari; a son, John Dale Ferrari; a grandson, Christopher Liter; a brother, Richard Marlow; a brother-in-law, Martin Hepp; three sisters-in-law, Imogene Hepp, Viola Marlow and Jeanette Ferrari; one best friend, Margie Peradotta.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday April 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Augustine Ibezimako and Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Visitation will be at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.
Due to the covid-19 virus, social distancing will be enforced and all attendees are asked to wear a mask.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery or St. Bruno Catholic School.
