Mary Beth Holyfield Mary Beth Holyfield, age 47, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:31 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Emergency Room, Pinckneyville, IL. Beth was born on May 19, 1964 in DuQuoin, IL, a daughter to William "Bill" E. and Patsy (Smith) Davis. On October 1, 1994, she married Daren Holyfield in Oakdale, IL and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL. Beth loved working at the church, studying her bible and playing bible trivia. She was a loving mother and stepmother, a wonderful daughter and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Daren Holyfield of Pinckneyville, IL; father and step-mother, Bill and Ladine Davis of Sims, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, O.V. and Lola Holyfield of Rockport, IN; a son, Willie D. Holyfield of Pinckneyville, IL; a daughter, Harley N. Holyfield of Pinckneyville, IL; two step-sons, Daren O. Holyfield of Bonne Terre, MO and Billy R. Holyfield of Corning, AR; a step-brother, Robert Hungate of McLeansboro, IL; two step-sisters, Deborah (Richard) Linder of Eldorado, IL and Karla (Chris) Mossman of Equality, IL; two uncles, Robert L. (La Deana) Davis of Wayne City, IL and Jimmie W. (Carolyn) Davis of Pinckneyville, IL; and numerous step-nieces, step-nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Davis; and grandparents, Willie and Irene Davis. Funeral services will be held at Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery, Rice, IL. Friends may call at Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
