Mary Alice Auld's Obituary
Mary Alice Auld, 77 years old, native of Oakdale, IL, and for the last 6 years lived in Poplar Bluff, MO, entered into heavenly rest on March 14, 2015 at home. Mary Alice was born on February 8, 1938 in Edwardsville, IL, a daughter to James and Mary Van Cleane and was later adopted by Kenneth and Fern Freiman of Nashville, IL. On June 30, 1956, she married Francis Lyle Auld and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2013. They had 10 children. Survivors include eight children, Ken (Loretta) Auld of St. Peters, MO, Mary Jayne (Mark) Bader of Poplar Bluff, MO, Alice Gail (Pat) Patterson of Marble Hill, MO, Lyle Alan (Sharon) Auld of Centralia, IL, Rebecca Glenna (Brett) Glodo of Willisville, IL, Roberta Francine (Mike) Nebel of Tacoma, WA, Fern (Kevin) Ellison of Centralia, IL and Faith (Jerry) Ahlers of Oak Grove, MN; one sister, Jacklyn Sue (Dennis) Uthe of Washburn, IA; one brother, Jerry (Barbara) Frieman of Nashville, IL; two sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Auld of Marine, IL and Jolene Fahnstock of Decatur, IL; one brother-in-law, Paul Campbell of Cowden, IL; twenty nine grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren and more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Fern Frieman; husband, Francis Lyle Auld; two infant sons, David Lyle and Jon James; one infant grandson, Mark Anthony Berthold; one son-in-law, Lloyd Gant; one sister, Mary Campbell and one brother, James Fahnstock. Private family service will be held at the Oakdale United Presbyterian Church, Oakdale, IL on Friday, March 20, 2015 with Reverend John Campbell officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the United Presbyterian Church, Oakdale, IL. Pyatt Funeral Home, Oakdale, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
