Terri, Susie and John, I've been thinking of your mom a lot over the last two weeks and what consistently comes to mind is her laugh. I can see her smiling face as clear as the day we met and I know that your hearts will forever be full of her laughter and love. You, your dad, and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear John, and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mary. I spoke to her last year and she seemed so well. I am really glad to have had the chance to hear about you and the children. She was very proud of all of you. My memories are of that darling young red-headed nurse in training at Jewish Hospital. My parents took me to visit her, and encourage us to continue in our education. We heard about you all during our entire life from our parents and Aunt Ellen. I agree with my cousin, Jerri, the picture in the paper looks just like my memories of Aunt Ellen.
I was Sharon Fowler, daughter of Paul and Catherine Hale Fowler (Aunt Ellen's sister). My husband Tony and I live in Carbondale.
My sincere condolence to you and your family. Clara Crocker Brown
We are very sorry for your loss. Mary was such a wonderful person and great neighbor.

Betsy and I have you in our thoughts and prayers, and in our affection.
