Mary Ann Andrews' Obituary
Mary Ann Andrews, age 70, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 5:08 p.m. in Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO surrounded by her family.
Mary Ann was born on December 15, 1948 in Christopher, IL, a daughter of Levern and Wilma (Read) Plumlee. She married Gary Andrews on November 11, 1995 in Pinckneyville, IL and he survives. Mary Ann had owned and operated Dairy Queen in Pinckneyville, IL and Sparta, IL for over 30 years. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church in Pinckneyville, IL. She had a green thumb for gardening, loved cooking, traveling, going to her grandchildren's sporting events and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Gary Andrews of Pinckneyville, IL; her mother, Wilma Plumlee of Pinckneyville, IL; one son, Jimmy (Heather) Bauersachs and their children, Riley and Alivia Bauersachs of Pinckneyville, IL; three daughters, Julie (Jeff) Coleman and their children, Taylor, Lauren, Isabel, Anna and Ryan Coleman of Arnold, MO; Dawn (Scott) Franke and their children, Seth and Michelle Franke of Wauwatosa, WI and Darcy (Jeff) Gossett and their children, Matt and Sam Gossett of DuQuoin, IL; two brothers, Steve (Cathy) Plumlee of Pinckneyville, IL and Mike (Debbie) Plumlee of Pinckneyville, IL and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Jay Lowder and Brother Tim McIntyre officiating. Interment will be at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL has been entrusted with the arrangements.
