Mark Alan Fox's Obituary
Mark Alan Fox, age 37, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 7:20 a.m. at his home. Mark was born on December 4, 1972, in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Donald and Mary Ann (Loos) Fox. On September 2, 1995, he married Brooke Heape in Pinckneyville, IL and she survives. Mark was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL, worked as a laborer for the Perry County Highway Department, and previously worked for Road District #4 for 12 years. He was a member of Laborer's Union, Marion, IL, a member of the Farm Bureau and a was a volunteer fireman for the Coulterville Volunteer Fire Department for the past 14 years. Mark enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife and hunting, but he especially loved spending time with his son Max. He is survived by his wife; one son, Max Fox of Coulterville, IL; parents, Donald and Mary Ann Fox of Coulterville, IL; one brother, Daron (Jill) Fox of Coulterville, IL; one sister, Donna (Kyle) Page of Ashton, IL; two nephews, Coy Fox and Tucker Dearmond; one niece, Molly Dearmond, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenny and Cindy Heape of Tamaroa, IL, three sisters-in-law, Amanda Dearmond, Elizabeth Heape, and Lindsey Heape; and numerous cousins, relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Anna Loos and Loren and Florence Fox. Funeral services will be held at Nine Mile Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Noah Schlag officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Max Fox Educational Fund.
