Margurite L. Hardin's Obituary
Margurite L. Hardin, age 87, of Pinckneyville, IL passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Pinckneyville Healthcare Center. Margurite was born on July 26, 1920 in Energy, IL, a daughter to Blanche Dunihoo. On January 13, 1943, she married Robert O. Hardin in California and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1987. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Pinckneyville, IL and dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her son: Larry (Clydine) Hardin of Pinckneyville, IL, three daughters: Judy (Tom) Ruffino of Pinckneyville, IL, Betty Jo (Bob) Tate of Texico, IL, and Virginia (John) DeMarie of DuQuoin, IL, brother: John (Gayl) Jones of Pinckneyville, IL, two sisters: Barbara Porter of Galacia, IL, and Carrie (Cliff) Morgan of Ava, IL, fifteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Robert, son: Robert Paul Hardin, three brothers: Jerrel Jones, Herbert Paul Jones, and Bill Dunihoo, and four sisters: Jewell Lipe, Betty Lipe, Patricia Ann Triefenbach, and Ivanell Sommers. Funeral services will be held at First Pentecostal Church, Pinckneyville on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. J. Mark Harris officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church from 9:00 a.m. until service Memorial donations may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America.
