Margaret A. Dunn's Obituary
Margaret A. Dunn, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 12:10 p.m. in Pinckneyville Nursing Rehabilitation Center, Pinckneyville, IL. Margaret was born on April 17, 1920, a daughter to Venia and Sarah (Livingston) Baggett. On June 7, 1941, she married Russell A. Dunn in St. Genevieve, MO and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1978. Margaret was a member of Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL, a seamstress with the former Pinckneyville Garment Factory for 36 years, and a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union. She loved to crochet, sew, cook and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her son Russell "Rusty" (Peggy) Dunn of Pinckneyville, IL; a daughter, Sara Jones of Pinckneyville, IL; a foster son, Jim Gossman of Hurst, IL; four grandchildren, Eric Dunn, Courtney Dunn, Jeff (Vickie) Jones and Julie (J.C.) Harrison; twelve great-grandchildren, Aaron Dunn, Derek Mohr, Blaine Griffin, Taylor Griffin, Logan Jones, Hunter Jones, Austin (Cassandra) Harrison, Drew, Ben, SaraBeth, Jacob, Eli; two great-great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son-in-law, Ed Jones; a brother; five sisters; and a foster son, Ronald Gossman. Funeral services will be held at Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Charles Smith and J.C. Harrison officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Roe's Dale Baptist Church or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
