Marcella Loretta Paull's Obituary
Marcy Paull, born in East St. Louis in 1907, died on April 15, 2008 in Moro, Oregon. The youngest child of George and Louisa (Eisfelder) Stackert, Marcy married John Cameron of San Francisco, California in 1929. Three children were born to them. After divorcing in 1943, Marcy supported herself by doing factory work. An active member of AARP, IAM Union, 2 senior clubs, the Over 40s Club and Helping Hands, Marcy enjoyed plays, movies, dining out, rummage sales, senior trips, gardening, baking, sewing, and canning. A lifelong love of adventure and travel led her to visit every state in the United States, much of Canada and Mexico, and some Mediterranean countries. A long time resident of San Bruno, California, in 1997, at the age of 90, she moved to Moro, Oregon to live with her oldest daughter, Mary Lou Dennis. Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Paull and her son, Jack Cameron. Surviving are her daughters, Betty Varnum of Metropolis, Illinois, Mary Lou Dennis of Moro, Oregon, Daughter-In-Law, Delma Cameron of Vacaville, California, nineteen grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren and her family of friends. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery in Pinckneyville, with Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL in charge of arrangements.
