I am sorry to read of Marceil's passing. She and my mother, Marian Lu, were good friends for years. Marceil was so proud of the progress of Marshall Browning and followed my career as a hospital CEO, often sending notes to me.
What a wonderful lady.
She was a caring neighbor to my grandparents, parents, and brother.
I will always remember her trays of Christmas cookies. They were so good...
Marceil was the last of my mother's (the late Ruth Terry, RN) closest friends. I have enjoyed visting her each year on Memorial Day weekend, when I get back to Du Quoin. Marceil and my mother were "veteran employees" of Marshall Browning Hospital, where Marceil was the business manager for many years. Even after retirement, Marceil remained a dedicated volunteer and supporter of MBH. She was a very kind and pleasant person and I will miss our annual visits. I offer my deepest sympathy and condolences to her family.
