Mae B. Bumann's Obituary
Mae Bumann, age 93, of Swanwick, IL, passed away at Pinckneyville Community Hospital at 12:49 p.m. on Thursday July 3, 2008. Mae was born on March 15, 1915 in Sparta, IL, a daughter to Richard and Minnie (McCormick) Robinson. On April 13, 1932 she married Kenneth L. Bumann in E. St. Louis, IL and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1982. Mae was a homemaker, a member of Winkle Baptist Church, she drove the Swanwick/Coulterville school bus route using a station wagon, a member of the Swanwick quilting group, loved flowers, embroidery and especially spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by two sons: Richard (Nellie) Bumann of Swanwick, IL and Gene (Helen) Bumann of Homeland, CA, two daughters: Marilyn (Lonnie) Ogilvie of Swanwick, IL and Sharon (Tom) Krapf of Edwardsville, IL, 11 grandchildren: Robert Bumann of Henderson, NV, Karen Willer of Simi Valley, CA, Kevin Bumann of Coulterville, IL, Kelly Brookman of Red Bud, IL, Kimberly Thornton of Pinckneyville, IL, Jeffrey Ogilvie of Swanwick, IL, Tim Ogilvie of Sparta, IL, Lisa Dennis of South Elgin, IL, Paul Krapf of Bentonville, AR, Jason Krapf of Edwardsville, IL, and Matt Krapf of Overland Park, KS, twenty-nine great grandchildren and many dear nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son: Robert Lee Bumann and a grandson: Damon Krapf. Funeral services will be held at Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, IL at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 7, 2008 with Reverend Jeff Downard officiating. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Friends may call at Winkle Baptist Church on Sunday July 6, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
