Madeline V. Hubler's Obituary
Madeline V. Hubler, age 92, of Swanwick, IL, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 in Sparta Community Hospital Emergency Room, Sparta, IL. Madeline was born on January 10, 1922 in St. Louis, MO, a daughter to George D. and Ruth Irene (Hearst) Berthold. On November 23, 1946, she married Clifford "Deik" Hubler in Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church, Coulterville, IL and he preceded her in death on January 21, 2002. Madeline was a member of the Winkle Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, sewing and quilting. She dearly loved spending time with her family. Survivors include a son Donald (Sheri) Hubler of Coulterville, IL; daughter, Zella (Jim) Kuhnert of Swanwick, IL; four grandchildren, Suzie (Ronnie) Gerber of Tamaroa, IL, Shellie (Mark) Barr of Pinckneyville, IL, Jill (Paul) Milam of Marissa, IL and Nikki (Robert) Pyatt of Pinckneyville, IL; six great grandchildren, Troy Gerber, Treavor Gerber, Katie Barr, Dalton Pyatt, Jessie Pyatt and Blake Milam; one great-great grandchild, Makenna Gerber and dear cousin, Judy (Ray) Doba of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clifford Hubler. Funeral services will be held at Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, IL on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Jeff Downard officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, IL.
