I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I know it's hard to think about life without the one you love, but there will come a time when that won't be the case. Almighty God didn't purpose for us to lose our loved ones to death. He does purpose, however, to bring back to life "all those in the memorial tombs" by means of a resurrection to life on a Paradise earth.~John 5:28,29, John 11:25, Psalm 46:1.
Our thoughts are with the family of Jim. May the words in Isaiah 57:15 give you hope and comfort.
We always enjoyed talking with Jim at the Manor. He was always nice and mannerly. He sat by Ronnie's dad in the dining hall.

Such wonderful memories of Uncle Jim. He was always such a gentle man with such a great smile. Vacations shared with Uncle Jim and Aunt Millie and Gwen (either in Illinois or Oklahoma) were always good times. My mom always loved spending time with her big brother and now they will all be together again. Gwen, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Gwen, Ray has fond memories of Jim when he worked at the lumber yard, and when I visited the manor and played the hymns, he certainly enjoyed them. He had a beautiful voice and I can still hear him singing "Love Lifted Me". I wish I had gotten to go to the Manor more often. So sorry for your loss.
My condolences to the family. I have many fond memories of Jim, both as my Sunday School teacher and his helping me at the lumber yard.
Our family will forever remember our great-uncle Jim, with tremendous fondness, and with a deep appreciation of how much he loved and treasured his beloved family.
