I loved Mrs. Garrett. I didn't get to see her the last several years and wish I had stayed in touch more than I did. She made us all feel like her family. I know all her family out there will miss her but have many, many lasting fond memories of both her and Mr. Garrett.
When we lost Mom, I felt like I lost a part of me. I was devistated beyond belief. She was so much a part of our lives. Even now all these years later -- I still miss her. When I heard about Aunt Lucy I felt all that pain again -- but for each of you. Mom thought so much of her and Uncle Harmond. You have so many wonderful memories to cherrish. Know that eventhough we cant be there today -- we are thinking about you. She is in the loving hands of God.
Lucy was quite a lady! I always enjoyed her sense of humor. Lucy's was a life well lived. Blessings to all the family.
GOD gave us the sweetest Grandmother in the world...I know we will all be re-united again someday. I love you Grandmother & my heart misses you so much. Rest peacefully.
