Lucille A. Vuichard's Obituary
Lucille Annette Vuichard age 96, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 1:31 p.m. in her home surrounded by her loving family. Lucille was born on December 29, 1915 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to John W. and Ida Sophia (Berg) Schneider. On October 10, 1934, she married Harold Vuichard Sr. in Sparta, IL and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1987 On July 23, 1994, she married Owen Savio in Ft. Meyers, FL and he preceded her in death. Lucille was a housewife and mother to 10 children. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL and St. Bruno Catholic Daughters. Lucille enjoyed going to church, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Lucille is survived by four sons, Paul John (Deana) Vuichard, David Joseph (Donna) Vuichard and Steve Francis (Debbie) Vuichard all of Pinckneyville, IL; and Timothy Charles Vuichard of N. Ft. Myers, FL; four daughters, Margaret Ida Campbell of Lehigh Acres, FL, Helen Cecilia Smith and Dianne Elizabeth Jones both of N. Ft. Myers, FL, and Karen Sue (Rob) Phelps of Maryville, TN; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Vuichard of Mt. Vernon, IL; son-in-law, Chuck Wheeler of Missouri; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and many other dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands; a son, Harold Vuichard, Jr; a daughter, Leona Wheeler; three brothers, Bill, Charles and Milton in infancy; and one sister, Irene in early childhood. Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Augustine Ibezimako officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at St. Bruno Catholic Church on Thursday, 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Catholic Daughters of St. Bruno or VNA/TIP Hospice. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
