Lucille Cleo O'Brien's Obituary
Lucille Cleo O'Brien, age 87, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 in her daughter's home in Columbia, IL. Lucille Cleo was born on March 17, 1927 in Perry County, IL, a daughter to Samuel H. and Anna Mariah (Heinike) Woodside. On January 3, 1948, she married Myron H. O'Brien in Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1996. She was a member of the Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church, Coulterville, IL, the Coulterville Women's Club, Town and Country Card Club, Church Card Club and Home Education Association of Randolph County. Lucille Cleo loved painting, drawing, animals and spending time with and her family. Survivors include one son, Richard (Ginger) O'Brien of High Ridge, MO; daughter, Rebecca Lee Keim of Columbia, IL; five grandchildren, Erin O'Brien, Carrie O'Brien, Kelly (Kevin) Vickery, Elizabeth (Joe) Schalk and Kyle O'Brien; eight great-grandchildren, Emma Cauble, Adam Deason, Isabelle Adams, Madison Vickery, Clayton Vickery, Leah Vickery, Jordyn Schalk and Jackson Schalk; two sisters, Eris Ogilvie of Swanwick, IL and Joan Birchler of Sparta, IL; and one brother, John Woodside of Cahokia, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Myron H. O'Brien, Jr.; one grandson, Matt Keim; five brothers, Millard Woodside, Clyde Woodside, Irl Woodside, Wilmer "Bill" Woodside and Dale Woodside; and four sisters, Gertrude Birchler, Theo Woodside, June Vuichard and Charlotte Fritz. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Stark and Pastor Allynn Walker officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning, 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Monroe County Humane Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
