Loretta L. Winder's Obituary
Loretta L. Winder, age 90, of Tamaroa, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 11:10 a.m. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, IL. Loretta was born on July 22, 1925 in Marion, IL, a daughter to Eugene and Lorena (Fowler) Campbell. On April 21, 1946, she married John Winder in Washington, Iowa, and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1984. Loretta was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pinckneyville, IL, United Methodist Women and the Sunshine Circle. She loved painting and gardening. Loretta was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing for her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed helping her mother make quilts. Survivors include her children Richard Winder of Tamaroa, IL, Karen Winder of Tamaroa, IL, and Keith (Lesie) Winder of Evansville, IL; six grandchildren, Heather, Janice, Jami, Brittany, John and Caitlin; seven great-grandchildren, Ellie, Marissa, Hunter, Tyler, Breyonna, Linkin and Ethan; one brother, Sherrel Campbell of Bloomington, IL and one sister-in-law, Alice Campbell of Marion, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Winder, one brother, Hal Campbell and one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Campbell. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Jim Barnett officiating. Interment will be in Tamaroa Cemetery, Tamaroa, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, IL.
