Loretta Rednour's Obituary
Loretta Rednour, age 93, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Loretta was born on April 6, 1917, a daughter to James W. "Rennie" and M. Esther (Mason) Edgar. On January 7, 1943, she married Charles L. "Chas" Rednour, Jr. in St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1996. Loretta was a Christian and was a member of the Royal Neighbors. She enjoyed reading the bible, quilting, sewing, and listening to country music. Loretta was a loving mother and grandmother and dearly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Richard (Marcia) Rednour of Coulterville, IL; one daughter, Ruth Ann (David) Pingsterhaus of Albers, IL; one son-in-law, John Nicholson of Red Bud, IL; one brother, Raymond Edgar of Pasco, WA; fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter in infancy, Dorothy Mae; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Nicholson; two brothers, Emerson and James Edgar; and two sisters, Elizabeth Laut and Irene Skinner. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Jeff Downard officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
