Loren E. Schwartzkopf's Obituary
Loren E. Schwartzkopf, age 93, of Clarmin, IL, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at his home. Loren was born on January 28, 1917 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to George E. and Sarah (Egbert) Schwartzkopf. On September 30, 1944, he married Stella Todd in Belleville, IL, and she preceded him in death on November 21, 2003. He married Ernestine Weinhoffer on January 5, 1985 in Sparta, IL and she preceded him in death on December 5, 2001. Loren was a farmer and retired from Spartan Light Metal after 21 years of service, was of the Pentecostal faith and he enjoyed whittling and collecting knifes Loren is survived by four sons, John (Pearl) Schwartzkopf of Clarmin, IL, Sam Schwartzkopf of Clarmin, IL, Larry Schwartzkopf of Moore, OK, and Paul (Liz) Schwartzkopf of St. Cloud, FL; two daughters, Helen (Michael) Martin of Clarmin, IL and Phyllis Cupp of Clarmin, IL; two stepsons, Mike (Joyce) Weinhoffer of Cutler, IL and Ronnie (Ruth) Weinhoffer of Coulterville, IL; one stepdaughter, Kathryn (Loren) Luthy of Cincinnati, OH; one sister Lucille (Owen) Thompson of Okeechobee, FL; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; one brother, Kenneth Schwartzkopf; two sisters, Velma King and Margie Chandler; and two stepsons, Bill and Ralph Weinhoffer. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Tim McIntyre officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society
