Loren "Teddy Bear" Bailey's Obituary
Loren "Teddy Bear" Bailey, age 89, of Kirkwood, MO, formerly of Sunfield, IL, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 in SSM Health St. Clare Hospital, Fenton, MO. Loren was born on March 18, 1926 in Sunfield, IL, a son to Clarence and Mary (Davison) Bailey. He married Norma Jean McRoy and she preceded him in death on July 8, 1975. Loren proudly served his country in the Army Air Force and was an electrician with AT&T for 35 years. He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the DuQuoin V.F.W. DuQuoin, IL. Loren loved spending time with his family finish carpentry, and woodworking. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen (Bob) Maggio of St. Louis, MO; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Charlotte and one brother Fred (Barbara) Bailey of Niles, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and three brothers, Richard Earl Bailey, Clarence "Teddy" Bailey and Myron Dean Bailey. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin, IL on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Erin Totten officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin, IL. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to DuQuoin V.F.W. DuQuoin, IL or Sunfield Methodist Church, Sunfield, IL. Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL is in charge of the arrangements
