Levi Charles Gardner's Obituary
Levi Charles Gardner, age 21, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 5:39 p.m. in Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, IN. Levi was born on June 28, 1990 in Sparta, IL. He was a graduate of the Nashville Community High School class of 2008. He was an apprentice pipefitter for the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 101, Belleville, IL for the last 2 years and prior to that had worked at Norrenberns Truck Service, Nashville, IL for 6 years. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association, Union Local 101 and loved go-cart racing, 4-wheeler racing, working on trucks and motorcycles, and spending time hanging with his dad and buddies. Survivors include his father, Charles E. Gardner (Leslie Deutschman) of Coulterville, IL; mother, Janet S. Stricker; paternal grandparents, Jim and Star Gardner of Coulterville, IL; two brothers, Wade and Colt Phillips; a sister, Jenna Phillips; an uncle, Jimmy (Lacy) Gardner II of Sparta, IL; an aunt, Terry Gardner (Dwayne Kempfer) of Coulterville, IL; three cousins, Jimmy Gardner III, Jessie Gardner and Chelsey Meadows-Gardner; and Max. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Brian Hobbs officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
